Samsung is seriously keen on going green with its mobile phones this time. They’ve just rolled out a few new cellphone models, W510 and F268, which are built with green materials or equipped with functions that help save energy.
The Samsung SGH-W510 is a green phone which its case is made put of bio-plastic, a natural material from corn. The making process of the W510 doesn’t contribute as much as chemical waste as making other Samsung’s cellphones does.
Samsung didn’t create much pollution during the making of the W510 cellphone. Besides, the phone also has anti-bacterial surface coatings that are claimed to help lessen the harmful effects brought by previous cellphone models to the human skins. The Korean will get this green cellphone
The SGH-F268 is the other green cellphone of Samsung. Which the specialty is the phone comes with an alarm function that alerts you when it gets fully charged, so you won’t waste power by leaving it plugged in. Besides, the phones are equipped with accessories, which don’t contain any BFRs (Brominated Flame Retardant) or PVC. Samsung is getting the SGH-F268 ready to hit China later this month.
